DSI facilitates community development projects in Irular villages such as Kollamedu, Madur and Malalinatham. Some of the projects are Herbal Garden at Kollamedu village, provision of bore wells, reconstruction of houses at Kollamedu, Malalinatham and providing free 
land for living for landless people of the Irular community.

Supporting Irular children by educating them and providing a healthy diet. Creating interest to develop skills in generating new ideas to initiate ventures in preserving the environment and healthy living. They are given orientation about the benefits from the government that exist for their community. They are taught about family values and the importance of education. We help them get their identity proofs for the benefits from the government.
